In order to work towards the goal of eventually purchasing land and building an Orthodox church and supporting facilities, our parish began holding a Glendi Greek Festival in the summer of 2009. 'Glendi' is Greek for celebration. Our festival is meant to be a family-friendly celebration for our community, an opportunity to offer hospitality to friends and neighbors and a means by which we may someday build an Orthodox church and facilities on the westside of Portland.
The 2012 dates have been chosen:
Friday-Sunday, July 27th, 28th and 29th.
