Each Parish Council member acts as a liaison between the council and certain committees. Please ask the Parish Administrator or PC Vice President about the PC Liaison chart showing which parish council members have been assigned to represent each of the church’s ministries to the parish council.
Parish Council elections are held in late November or early December each year. Six members are elected each year, for a term of two years. Nominations for Parish Council are opened at the Fall General Assembly Meeting. Parish Council officers are elected at the beginning of each January, after the Parish Council is affirmed.
The Parish Council meets on the third Tuesday of each month. They oversee issues of finance and stewardship, landscaping and facility maintenance, approving and supporting ministry programs and strategic planning, all with the goal of prayerfully helping the parish fulfill its mission.
